Capabilities
Fabrication, machining, forming, welding, and finishing.
Byers Precision Fabricators, Inc. supports custom metal component manufacturing across the core processes below. Each project is quoted against the customer’s own drawings and specifications.
Precision Fabrication
Precision metal fabrication
Fabrication is the foundation of our work. We build custom metal components from the drawings and specifications our customers provide, from individual parts to larger fabricated assemblies.
Requirements such as geometry, material, and finish are set by your drawings and confirmed during quoting.
- Custom fabricated metal components
- Parts built to customer drawings and specifications
- Fabricated components for assemblies
Machining
Precision machining
For components that require machined features, surfaces, or fits, we offer precision machining, including CNC machining where applicable to the part.
Machined features are produced to the requirements on your drawing, and whether machining is suited to a given part is reviewed when we quote it.
- Precision machined components
- CNC machining where applicable
- Machined features on fabricated parts
Forming
Metal forming
Metal forming shapes sheet and plate material into the geometry a part calls for, such as bent and formed profiles that become components or parts of larger assemblies.
Formed parts can be combined with welding, machining, and finishing as the design requires.
- Sheet and plate metal forming
- Formed components and profiles
- Forming combined with other processes
Welding
Welding
Welding joins individual components into fabricated parts and assemblies. Joint requirements are taken from the customer’s drawings and specifications.
If your project has specific welding requirements, include them with your inquiry so they can be reviewed during quoting.
- Welded fabrications and assemblies
- Joining of fabricated and formed components
- Welding as one stage of a larger project
Finishing
Finishing
Finishing prepares parts for delivery, assembly, or further processing. Finishing requirements are defined by your drawing or specification.
Tell us what the part needs when you request a quote, and we will confirm how it will be handled.
- Finishing as specified for the part
- Preparation for assembly or delivery
- Finishing coordinated with other project stages
Components & Assembly
Custom component manufacturing & assembly
Beyond individual parts, we support custom component manufacturing and the assembly of fabricated and machined components into finished units.
Related fabrication needs are welcome as well. If your project does not fit neatly into one category, describe it and we will let you know how we can help.
- Custom component manufacturing
- Assembly of fabricated and machined components
- Related fabrication services on request

Requirements
Your drawings define the work.
Materials, tolerances, finishes, inspection needs, and any applicable standards are defined by each project’s drawings and specifications, and are reviewed with you when we quote the work.
Drawings & CAD files
Part drawings, assembly drawings, and CAD files give us the clearest view of what you need built.
Specifications
Include material, finish, and any technical or industry requirements that apply to the part or assembly.
Quantity & timeline
Share the estimated quantity and your preferred timeline so the quote reflects your project.
